Attica Indiana may not look like much. A historic main street, and maybe a Subway. What it lacks in standing buildings it makes up in decrepit, decaying structures. The vestige of the twice-burned building is left in brick walls, crumbling floors and doors to nowhere. Picking through the debris in asbestos-coated shoes, the abandoned halls of the once-grand 1890 resort didn’t feel haunted. But it was beautiful.
